FPS drop and WindowServer + Kernel_task High CPU

so started happen since installed high sierra , can't figure out might causing it. i'm hoping here can guide me for.

i'm getting huge fps drops on moving windows around, applications behave crap, wired mouse starts lag.

windowserver , kernel_task processes have high cpu usage. saw other members have high memory usage, not case me.

tried resetting pram, smc, doesn't work. happens after while of using computer , it's fixable restart. i'm getting tired of how many restarts did.

can please tell me this? tried booting in safe mode, there no difference. need logs or for, don't know where.

 

do have night shift enabled?

had similar frame drops , high kernel_task cpu usage after upgrading hs , tried every diagnostics think of in vain until 1 day noticed happened around same time of day , fixed after hour or so.

turns out it’s caused transition when night shift turning on or off. when it’s on there no issue. disabled automatic switch , turn on or off manually.
