Known issues with the 2017 rMB?

my 9.7" ipp has been serving me year now, however, fact apple removed/changed features in recent updates important workflow kinda made me question purchase , thought might have been better off buying ms surface intended i'm starting need actual laptop capabilities , proper os.

fast forward today: returned second surface book 2 bough replace ipp. both had terrible coil whine , did every other sb2 find on display in electronics stores near me, kinda gave on although it's awesome machine in every other aspect , i've never used windows in life using easy be.

i'm starting think "normal" laptop in addition ipp might best idea. 2in1s don't seem ready yet.
tbmbp expensive , ntbmbp has noisy fan , 128gb base config has joke. both seem have keyboard issues i'm definetely not fan of.


rmb 2017, though. single usb3.0 port isn't ideal there nice dongles now, should work.

now actual question is:
there known issues rmb? affected mbps' keyboard issues? other problems common , worth (except usual stuff dead pixels)?

 

the 2015 , 2016 models feature flatter keyboard current macbook pros, , arguably makes them more susceptible failure due debris. if 2017 model, has same keyboard current macbook pros (although fractionally less travel makes sound bit more clacky), should there. can come peace keyboard on device (rather pro) because there reason it: thinness @ costs. i'm willing have keyboard that's maybe 95% reliable - rather 100% - in order have extremely light laptop. priorities may differ.

other that, they're pretty solid. after miserable experience buying , selling many macbook pros on last 12 months, realised better trusty macbook, , returned when 2017 model released.

these few issues have read or experienced, they're near common macbook pro's issues:

• creaking hinge
• fast hinge loosening - seems resolved since 2016
• trackpad haptic issues (i had 1 popped)
• fast battery degradation (i worried current 1 had this, after declining 94% in first couple of months, it's stabilised 7 months later @ 93%)
• warped base (i.e. not 4 rubber feet touch surface @ once) - part of wafer-thin design unfortunately , if put in particularly loaded backpack can bend bit. can apply pressure 4 corners straighten again, if it's straight out box that's not ideal

again, these rare , i'm being picky listing them all. think that's it. it's great machine!
