Resolved A newbie to MacBooks

hi all
self employed adviser nhs , require use of portable laptop. own , have use of 15.6 hp pavilion laptop runs i3 core , 8gb if ram , 1tb of hdd.

i’m struggling witty both size, , weight of machine , feel portability in laptop case limited

so..


have decided invest in macbook

have done little research , feel macbook air 13 inch or macbook 12” suffice

main things i’d doing using web browser expensive commitment feel iv invested in machine perhaps others things in future such gaming or requiring little bit more power

annoyed @ fact macbook air doesn’t have retina or hd screen
going purchase through catalogue had sale on included years use of microsoft office

anyway have not purchased yet
, wandering if have help

machine must have minimum 8gb of ram. , things these days stored in cloud not fussed in hdd
believe core i5 or equivalent should also

suggestions machine , spec should buy?

have budget go on knowing last me many years , require apple 4 years maximum warranty
