i saw ad on facebook professionally done , looked inviting mackeeper. keeps mac running efficiently. did not click on download button because thought remember reading somewhere terrible program , causes more harm good. know if true? there should regularly keep mac clean , running @ peak peformance?

shut down computer @ least once week, empty trash, , keep os date.

beyond that, not more need in terms of maintenance.
