New Macbooks loud keyboard noise: does it bother you ?

so, i'm thinking of getting recent ( june 2017 , second generation keyboard) macbook 12" replace macbook air 11". played bit in apple store, keyboard's touch feels bit weird, think can used it. disliked however, how loud keyboard sounds. attracts attention , quite annoying, both myself , other people, in quiet public environment.

of own one, what's feeling ? bother ? did adjusted ? did find way type makes less loud ?

i don't care macbook 2017's keyboard, i'm getting used it.

sound, it's not bothering me. doesn't appear louder other keyboards i've used on years sound different ones use (wired apple keyboard on mac mini, 11" macbook air's keyboard).

of course, there's far less key travel on macbook 2017 i'm not pressing keys hard on work pc's microsoft natural keyboard.

actually, i'm thinking it, microsoft natural keyboard louder since have press keys harder , plastic housing seems amplify keys' sound.

disclaimer: started on manual typewriters decades ago. typing class had ibm selectric typewriters.
