Finder Keeps 'Forgetting' which application to use when I try to open files.
kind of strange problem, started few weeks ago, when try open .jpg .mp4 or file can find, instead of opening appropriate application (preview photos, vlc videos, etc.) normal, instead says there no application set open it, , have go choose 'other' , search application in order open file.
if open 'info' on file, go down 'open with', & choose appropriate application, select 'change all', seems work, , file open double-click normal ... next time open laptop, forgets on again. if had never gone through process.
apologize if thread has been made, couldn't find 1 it.
ideas appreciated, thanks!
