Keyboard lag on 12.9 iPad pro

hi all,

picked 12.9 ipad pro smart keyboard. found getting keyboard lag in microsoft word when using track changes. unfortunately because bought machine 2 weeks before didn't have time play around machine before losing return window. returned both machine , keyboard. able determine track changes worked fine without lag when typing on screen. know problem @ least keyboard interaction word don't know if it's app-specific. realised after i'd returned have updated ios 11.

because didn't test things out i'm tempted try machine, i'm wondering if else has had problem?

i'm editor lag pretty important. however, funds bit tapped right don't have enough spend on new macbook. have extreme sensitivity mould machine buy had ranked other wise machine contaminates easily. other options more expensive macbook or surface pro (the new i5s don't have fans).

has had problem lag?
