Bookmark Sync broken again when awoken from standby


unbelievable... reported years ago , fixed 2 releases , been re-introduced high sierra.


1.) macos in sleep

2.) add bookmark on ios device

3.) verify bookmark has synced cloud looking @ other ios devices (if u have another)

3.) wake macos up

4.) bookmark doesn't appear.


try this

1.) macos awake

2.) add bookmark on ios device

3.) check bookmarks in safari on macos

4.) first bookmark didn't appear has appeared, 2nd bookmark u added has appeared

5.) sync successful

in short, waking macos triggers icloud sync except bookmarks....

tried reporting in bug reporter crashing...

edit: i've discovered going system preferences, icloud, forces complete sync , bookmarks appear.
 

no 1 else?!?

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
