Editing Offline Game Application Data/Variables (Plist?)

hello! first post. wondering how 1 go editing variables or data such score, money amount, or different pictures on offline application on macbook air.

far have done following:
[applications] > [offline game] > [show package contents]

able see considerable amount of "inner workings" of game. know should go here able edit variables affect game?

have installed plist editor, quick search through variables stored there has shown me not place look.

note: based on assumption game variables indeed stored offline in first place.

[edit] if not right forum these questions, should go?

 

it's going different each game. hacking / modding / installing cheats isn't simple editing few variables in text file.

have online whatever specific games want mess with, may have built-in cheat menu.
