Airdrop not working since getting new iPhone X


airdrop used work fine between iphone 6 , mac os x running el capitan. however, unable establish connection @ using new iphone x. have tried signing in , out of icloud, hard reset of iphone, made sure devices discoverable everyone, bluetooth on, wifi on, personal hotspot off, etc.

yet when try share photo iphone via airdrop, shows message "airdrop. share instantly people nearby. if turn on aidrop control center on ios or finder on mac, you'll see names here. tap share." have tapped dozens of times. no devices ever showing up. has been way since day 1 of owning iphone x.

missing here? used easy.

okay, went control center (by swiping down top left corner). 3d touched on network settings (upper left group of 4 icons). brought screen showing several settings, including fact airdrop set everyone. set receiving off , everyone. seems have fixed it.

now trying share 2nd photo. airdrop on iphone no longer sees mac again. function extremely inconsistent now. gave , emailed myself. airdrop broken.
 

i have found airdrop pretty inconsistent. have 8 , wife has 7. works , doesn't. can't figure out why.

OWC Envoy Pro SSD Enclosure - Alternatives?
