Any BF 27" iMac Deals?


i think going pull trigger on 27" imac retina, leaning towards 512ssd drive because hi sierra doesn't support fusion drives. on fence between 2015 , 2017, know want quad core processor, upgraded graphics card might nice, not sure in pre built system far graphics cards.

suggestions on should keep eye on deals , discounts should jump on?

$150 off deal on $2,000 system time of year?

suggestion appreciated looking spend around $1,500 spend more solid deal.
 

it's going harder find 2015 imac ssd being sold "new".
might easier apple-refurbished model configuration.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
