No Valid mbox files were found

hello everyone,

have small business , few days ago reinstall server in order resolve issue hd space (for reason apple advisor didn't know) run out of space.

when finish handle email client move mail designated folder of client. used several levels of folder: first level if folder called "office" (which created right click on inbox , "create new mailbox". second level client folder created in same way , drag-and-drop under "office" folder.

emails exported inbox restored, emails in "office" folder can't restore.

tried 2 methods:
1. in mail app file ->import mailboxes -> files in mbox format , following error: "no valid mbox files found" (i tried chose folder, .mbox file, files in .mbox folder).
2. tried second method: file ->import mailboxes -> apple mail. choose folder containing .mbox files , proceed next window shows mailboxes want import. after continue receive message "you can find imported mailboxes in folder named "import" in mailboxes list", there no such folder...

emails important , more happy if me issue.

are these apple mail mbox files try import newer version of apple mail?

can see left sidebar in apple mail (shift + cmd + m)? after second attempt, did expand local folders section in sidebar? hover on local section , click "show" next "+" sign should visible. still no import folder there?
