IUP or VZW payments for iPhone X?


i have iphone 7+ bought outright last year. didn't feel need preorder x , wanted try out before commiting.

went verizon store today , got chance try x , it! apparently i'm 1 of people upgrade every year question iup or device payments through verizon. besides inclusion of apple care there anytyhing else should know differs between two? both seem allow upgrade every year , i've read, lte phones on verizon unlocked (i spend lot of time in uk have uk sim use while on there).

thoughts appreciated.
 

i chose iup upgrade latest iphone every release , business apple rather committing carrier program (although i've been att 10 years). applecare , interest-free financing sealed deal me -- particularly i've seen repair costs x! despite frustrations iup preorder process year, i'm hopeful apple make improvements going forward.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
