CES 2018: Kohler's New Sensate Kitchen Sink Faucet and DTV+ Shower System Will Support HomeKit

kohler @ ces 2018 week has introduced collection of new smart kitchen , bath products based on new kohler konnect platform, based on microsoft's azure internet-of-things cloud solutions.

spokeswoman kohler told macrumors sensate touchless kitchen faucet , dtv+ shower system first of kohler konnect products support apple's homekit platform smart home accessories.

kohler's sensate faucet allows turn water on , off or dispense water measured volume, such eight-ounce cup or large pot, simple voice commands or touch-free motion-based interactions.

faucet monitors water usage , lets track consumption using upcoming kohler konnect companion app.

meanwhile, dtv+ showering system enables homeowners create , automate personalized showering experiences. kohler konnect app allows to, example, create , manage presets sound, water, steam, , lighting.

optional bridge, can use voice commands access presets, or use system's wall-mounted interface, adjust water temperature, , control shower heads, music, lighting, steam, , shower duration.

homekit compatibility should enable both products controllable siri or apple's home app iphone, ipad, , apple watch.

kohler's other new smart home products integrated kohler konnect platform include verdera mirror built-in amazon alexa, numi intelligent toilet, purewarmth toilet seat, , perfectfill technology bathtubs.

kohler said verdera mirror amazon alexa available purchase march 2018 in united states. other new kohler konnect products planned release later year. pricing has not been disclosed.

home depot sells kohler's existing sensate faucet , dtv+ shower system sans konnect $523 , $794 respectively in united states.
