X vs S7 Edge Display Comparison - Brightness Shift and angles

shot 10.5" ipad pro - 18 month old s7 edge on left, x on right. max brightness, true tone off. in doors, x gets brighter, outdoors s7 edge has overdrive , brighter. color looks better on x. panel looks pinker , whiter. s7 edge panel greener. don't or color shifting when viewed off angle, both fine.

well, s7 2 years old oled fine. keep display on time gps hours, no real issues burn in (slight line across status bar, impossible tell in normal use). samsung employs sort of pixel or image shifting s7 edge. hope x has no issues retention.

there has multiple panel models samsung being used on x if reviewers complaining angles , color shifting.

1 last note - worst display have ipad pro 10.5 has absolutely horrible color shift slight off angle view.

 

i have s7 edge work phone , experienced similar results. s7e has strong yellow tint when compared directly.
