mac mini help


i have purchased late 2012 mac mini using uptone dc -conversion /linear fan controller kit ,hdplexpower supply .i having issue tv screen goes crazy vertical bars 10 seconds reboots .it not happen .i use music server .temp runs 39.c 44c .any ideas .

sounds gpu defect. might option start console app, in left navigationbar, select system reports. in list, alphabetical, search entries named this:
kernel_2017-12-11-082654_mbp2016.gpurestart

starts "kernel", date , time, computername, , ends ".gpurestart". if that's case, know sure it's gpu that's #$%^&*

(this assumes you're on high sierra.)

OWC Envoy Pro SSD Enclosure - Alternatives?

hi there! long time reader, first time poster! wondering if might able me out question. 2013 mbp w/ retina met unceremonious end courtesy of water damage. cost repair far worthwhile purchased replacement instead. however, turned out ssd (768gb!) appears ok. guy @ genius bar suggested third party external casing use (a) access data (since said apple charges $90cad or transfer over) , (b) use ssd external drive in future. kind enough remove ssd me. i found below option: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/owc/mau3envoypro/ i'm wondering if there other less expensive alternatives? couldn't find else online. owc enclosure not outrageously expensive i'm looking thrifty since don't plan on making use of it. thank much!   i in similar situation, 2013 500gb blade ssd after buying used rmbp mid 2015. noticed ssd installed 2013, complained , got later faster ssd plus keep ...
