upgraded to 11.1.1 on iPhone 8+, now I have no camera app


hi, all. wondered if anyone's encountered 1 yet. updated iphone 8+ ios 11.1.1. after reboot, camera app disappeared, , black screen if try access camera through 3rd party apps such snapchat. snapchat says doesn't have access camera , when @ app restrictions, camera , facetime grayed out

ideas on causes , solutions this? i've tried restoring phone multiple times, hard resets, everything, nothing works , camera fine until update.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
