Auto brightness setting can't be turned off?


i'm new apple watch user, , 1 thing thats deal breaker me (and lot of research before buying didn't know one) no matter how set brightness, watch screen dim lot in dark room , dark me because have vision problem.

if set brightness max, i'd happy, don't understand why apple didn't let turn auto-brightness off...

there unknown setting don't know can fix this? if not, i'll consider returning watch, sadly.
 

auto on can set maximum in auto mode. reason having auto battery life. max output 1000 nits , deplete small battery if displayed amount every time.

edit: forgot add under accessibility apple offers grayscale option people low vision problems.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
