iMac Pro 10 core vs 18 core

i calculate 18 core approx 20% faster 10. that’s multiplying numbers... know how larger l3 memory factor speed? single treaded looks 10 core 5% faster 18 core... arguments sake, assume cost not factor. overall performance is. uses final cut x, logic, lightroom, photoshop (not much). thoughts?

the cache makes significant difference in different jobs. because of that, no 1 can accurately estimate performance difference. closer cache, closer estimate; larger difference in cache, larger error in estimate, , larger differences in different benchmarks.
