Why won’t my iTunes library play on Apple TV ?


as per above.

running latest ios 11 on iphone x & lates tvos software on apple tv 3 , or 4 (the 1 lower recent - not 4k)

anyway , go music library on apple tv & select album play. won’t play , no sound etc. ios 10 would. way play music bring on iphone & stream lounge tv. fine don’t want this.

want select album on apple tv music menu , select play or shuffle prompted , & hear music , per ios 10 , 9 , 8 etc.

doing wrong , or what’s different ios 11 ? there setting i’ve not switched on etc ?

did try playing computer app?

also, check make sure both atv , computer signed home sharing.

Other Unknown error

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
