file system map inconsistent G4 Yikes


i'm redoing hard drives on g4 yikes. have made partitions various os installations , installed tiger on first one. want put 9.2 on next in order run classic.
problem when try boot 9.2.2 cd message "file system map inconsistent". bomb. happens 9.2.1, 9.2.2, , original yikes software disk 8.6.
have booted c key , startup disk in tiger.
installed os9 drivers when formatting disk.
able start 10.2 , 10.0 cd's, , tiger dvd.

using kensington keyboard , 2008 imac keyboard , cannot g4 pram reset , not chime.
remember years ago there program tech tool did pram reset without keyboard, i'll try macintosh garden , see if helps.
 

can boot open firmware cmd+opt+o+f?

type @ of prompt:

- reset-nvram
- set-defaults
- reset-all

if can't of, there may issue keyboard's being new of deal it. try switching on yikes holding power button in. should force yikes start in of.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
