Firefox Quantum is out - could be great for TFF users


so, mozilla appears have released firefox quantum; claim have rebuilt browser ground up, speed improvements in-mind. and, well, have following: have tried out within sierra, on modern mac, , can conclude mozilla has made browser that's fast , efficient.


has got great powerpc users, assuming tenfourfox updated these technologies. it's going make application run better on ppc macs ever before. personally, loathe how slow , hungry firefox/tenfourfox is; so, if marks turnaround, i'm relieved. it's great firefox user - including powerpc-mac users. can't wait update; i'll go test on powermac g5.

p.s. new icon design + new tab design.
 

as exciting x86, have feeling rewrite ground unlikely ported powerpc. maybe there components can adapted.

understand, tenfourfox one-dev operation compared mozilla’s team of hundreds (thousands?) of developers/contributors.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
