Question re watch 4.1 and apple music

hi considering purchasing watch 3 dont want carrier cost.

question is, gps version , new 4.1 release can access playlists, albums , artists set in apple music subscription on watch if close phone. ie can use iphone 4g signal access cloud , play. realise can phone when out running easier use phone change play list of song. (finally) can use siri if buy air pods too. guess in summary can watch gps+cell version can if have phone you. appreciate cant find answers on internet.

cellular model gets full apple music access. let me try , explain in detail;

s3 4g watch has few ways of accessing data;

1. direct lte access watch when phone isn’t nearby.
2. direct wifi access when near trusted network, , phone isn’t nearby.
3. indirectly using phone’s wifi/lte connection, when phone nearby , connected watch (e.g. in pocket)

2 out of 3, every apple watch can do, reason, apple have decided put full library access on 4g models, though others it, exception of when you’re near phone or wifi network.

it’s real shame, 4g watch, 80% of time i’m either near phone or trusted wifi, , other 20% on 4g (while running example).

means really, s2 watch same thing 80% of time, not other 20%, , download playlist watch storage other 20% of usage anyway.

hope change in future update, seems waste of great feature.
