I deleted a partition from my HDD

i can’t stream on mac in way want, used mac’s boot camp download windows. couldn’t use boot camp create partition (it kept failing during partition process) created partition manually in hdd, , after loading windows iso, fails. deleted partition instead of file itself. missing. have 1tb storage, , misplaced 275gb. how recover partition?

tips on getting past initial issue iso isn’t working on boot camp, feel free chime in!

the partition "deleted" -- mac partition, or bootcamp windows partition?

if mac partition mac data on -- hope have backup.

if indeed mac partition, , have no backup, may need try data recovery software. i'd suggest prosoft's "datarescue" (there others out there, well).

can "find" missing partition?

if can, may able recover data on it.

then, i'd suggest backing rest of drive (bootable cloned backup preferred), booting externally, erasing drive, , -- start over.

aside:
don't trust bootcamp , having windows partition on otherwise mac drive. unless absolutely, positively have-to-have native windows booting capabilities, i'd suggest "virtual machine" setup windows instead. opinion only.
