Kudos to Apple Maps


having criticised apple maps quite bit, need give latest incarnation in ios 11.1.1 credit:

1) correctly spotted lane closure along motorway (highway) while waze did not;

2) lane guidance has made way france, check out beauty:

3) proposed routes seem better of google & waze, less zig-zags , strange manoeuvres.

mapping adventure continues...
 

that's hear. i've been using waze, doesn't integrate rest of tech way apple maps does. have give try.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
