Other Water proof seal compromised when Apple replaces battery?

when iphone opened replace battery, sealing/adhesive may compromised , may not work intended when re-sealed. scandal of cpu throttling due degraded batteries, believe might worst news out of entire ordeal.

because ensure doesn't lose water-proofing, you need add adhesive isn't easy , it's time consuming. @ $29, if apple adds adhesive there no guarantee they'll leave when came factory. , long term, price increasing $79 next year.

phone being throttled , had 330 cycles , above 80% health, year of use. , i've been seeing reports of many people reporting similar experiences.

hence seems new iphones including x have 1-2 years of non-throttling, , guaranteed experience throttling @ 2 year mark or before, @ point you'll need $79 battery replacement compromise water-proofing.

know if apple guarantees ip67 after replacing battery, or irrelevant point since apple not honor water damage anyway?

i'd see more discussion surrounding issue since haven't seen proper coverage.

seems me should pushing batteries don't degrade quickly, samsung doing s8.

i think need keep iphone dry. sure reapply sealant before closing device up. if phone gets wet enough set off sensors, void warranty anyway.

not think samsung's batteries better apples. @ least ours not caught fire!
