iMac 27 screen off Power Consumption?


hi guys!

i'm debating whether buy nas or use imac server running 24/7 hd connected it.

looking power consumption figures imac has screen powered off , idle, since running way majority of time.

have figures?
have 27 retina i7, internal ssd , 12gb of ram.
 

my 2017 (specs below) screen off drawing 24 watts. measured external killiwatt power meter , confirmed istat menus total power log.

@ low power power factor isn't stellar. mine runs 0.60 vs. 0.95 screen active.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
