Nvidia Web Driver Glitches - Maybe, Maybe not. FYI Post.

thought i'd post separate thread inform members of learned. thought nvidia web drivers have been coming along pretty nicely starting see lots of artifacts , gui glitches in high sierra. kept updating drivers @ every release hoping things better. releases seemed worse. still able work (cuda renders) , hoped things better eventually.

started getting shut-downs of system during heavy renders. found auxiliary psu helping power 1080 ti's near death. swapped out psu higher quality , higher powered unit , suprize all glitches gone.

have sworn glitches driver related not. caused cards not getting enough power.

made me wonder how many people have had "nvidia web driver issues" having "power issues".

guess can't over-stated how important supply these monster cards monster power satisfy needs. close not sufficient. tdp of (2) 1080 ti's 560w.

so, did add more power (4) 8-pin connectors , glitches gone. hope helps someone.

thanks, that's interesting! i'm using 980 ti mvc, internal power, , no glitches seen yet in rendering. i'm using yosemite, though.
