apple implementing new feature allows developers offer pre-orders unreleased apps, letting customers purchase popular apps ahead of release date.

made available pre-order, app must have release date @ least 2 days in future, no more 90 days in future. pre-orders available both free , paid apps.

when app pre-ordered, on release date, it'll automatically downloaded customers device. paid apps, purchase price charged when app released, not before.

apple today announced general availability of introductory pricing subscriptions, allowing developers charge less first few months of auto-renewing subscription. feature introduced in ios 11.2.
