FaceID rescan after failing the 1st scan

hi how algorithm faceid works?

after failing first scan, continue try second time or there must action user trigger rescan?

many times when take out pocket check notifications screen messages (preview unlock when scan successful), doesn’t rescan automatically unless wake screen sleep, tap wake again, , scan.

want see notifications have , not go home screen

 

if it’s failing best thing set again removing previous scan. far reviews it’s pretty spot on.
