How come certain websites make my MacBook Pro's fans rev like crazy?


try visiting site in safari , wait couple minutes:

http://www.crucial.com

fans go insane? mine do. not sure why. websites causes happen?
 

this happens me various websites. several of these websites, downloading extension blocked scripts (specifically created block sites try free bitcoin mining) stopped this. couchtuner example.

on crucial website causing cpu spike mad (and presumably not flash because version of chrome using blocks default). wonder if has revolving advertisement?

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
