Keyboard drops away during Siri/Mic use 11.1

hey everyone!

searched internet, , forum haven’t found workaround 11.1 new feature on siri in text app:

if in text app , hit siri button, keyboard drops away , have click keyboard icon floating in lower left part of screen:





know if there way, setting, or tip how keyboard without hitting icon?! it’s annoying , slowing me down...

i’m sure i’ll used if turn phone sideways keyboard comes , can click on grey arrow icon , push text area keyboard up:



appreciated greatly. in advance , excuse me if being discussed , couldn’t find thread
