Which iMac Pro for After Effects & Adobe CC?


hi everyone. i've ordered 18 core speced imac pro. second-guessing , thinking since after effects has lost multi-threading abilities since 2015, maybe i'm better off 10 core has higher clock speed. have insights or experience on choosing best configuration after effects , motion graphics work lots of photoshop, illustrator , other adobe apps? configuration pick if money not issue?
 

why second guessing choice if money not issue? stick , enjoy loaded imac pro ordered. answer question - if money not issue have ordered loaded imac pro if fun :)

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
