2010 Macbook with SSD Slow Writing Speed


hello folks,

@ home have 2010 white unibody macbook. decided upgrade , leave mom.
upgraded ram 4gb , put sandisk ssd plus 120gb ssd.
however, when test writing/reading speeds blackmagic disk speed test, 250 mb/sec reading nice sata ii interface, writing speed fluctuates between 40-50 mb/sec lower original hdd.

did both nvram , smc resets , enabled trim. btw, using macos high sierra.
 

blackmagic uses incompressible data in tests.

utility atto uses compressible data.

needless manufacturers use compressible data rates. use terms "up to".

try testing atto see if different result.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
