Apple Dismisses Rumors of Ever Putting Touch ID on Back, Side, or Under Display of iPhone X

on year leading iphone x, rumors ran rampant touch id being placed under display, or on back or side of device, apple's hardware engineering chief dan riccio says reports never true.

in interview techcrunch's editor-in-chief matthew panzarino, riccio said apple "spent no time" looking @ implementing fingerprint authentication in these ways because focused on perfecting face id.

kuo's latest prediction apple remove touch id on iphones launched in 2018 in favor of face id. thinks truedepth camera , 3d facial recognition system won't upgraded next year.

face id has proved reliable in iphone x reviews , first impressions, , it's considered easy set , use.
