Which configuration of the iMac Pro would be more useful? (specs in comments)

hi all,
i've been considering getting imac pro current 1 extremely old. of now, i'm stuck between 2 options. both same price i'd opinions on 1 better. 2 configs follow:

configuration 1:

1. 3.2ghz 8-core intel xeon w processor, turbo boost 4.2ghz
2. 64gb 2666mhz ddr4 ecc memory
3. 1tb ssd
4. radeon pro vega 64 16gb of hbm2 memory

configuration 2:

1. 3.0ghz 10-core intel xeon w processor, turbo boost 4.5ghz
2. 32gb 2666mhz ddr4 ecc memory
3. 1tb ssd
4. radeon pro vega 64 16gb of hbm2 memory

can see (bolded), main difference amount of cores (processor) vs. memory. upgrading cores (from 8 10) same price upgrading memory 64gb. so, 1 better? main desktop , don't plan on upgrading long time. also, i've heard 1 upgrade memory separately later on down line; that's i'm not opposed doing.

let me know of thoughts! i'll have poll if you'd rather answer that. thoughts on 1 better appreciated though! in advance.
