apple today seeded second beta of upcoming tvos 11.2 update developers testing purposes, 1 week after seeding first tvos 11.2 update , little under week after launch of tvos 11.1.

designed fourth , fifth-generation apple tv models, tvos 11.2 developer beta can downloaded onto apple tv via profile that's installed using xcode.

according apple's release notes, tvos 11.2 update enables new avdisplaymanager feature developers, designed allow device automatically switch video display modes match native frame rate , dynamic range of video content.

update includes support switching apple tv 4k display output sdr apps gpu-bound when running in hdr , re-introduces unwatched category in home sharing movies, tv shows, , home videos.

apple says adds new features, bug fixes, , security improvements tvos operating system.
