Help setting up CCC backup with Network Mac's....


i have 3 mac mini's on network , 3 family mac books. 1 mac desktop; 1 runs server on time , runs plex, , 1 runs parallels , use windows 7 machine. 3 mac books plugged in every once in while backed up. have qnap nas transferring files holds plex library.

right 2 tc's everynight.

bought ccc , wd 8tb easy share drive. i'd make full backup's using ccc, getting bogged down on how on network.

should mount 8tb ext drive qnap , have ccc backup images on drive?

or should mount/create 6 disk drives on ext. drive , have ccc make 6 bootable backups?

convert 1 of ccc images files on nas bootable version on usb drive later on?

ccc seems easy use, getting confused on best way , have run automatically.

Other Unknown error

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
