Installing an SSD into a 20" early 2008 iMac


hi there

want breath more life 20" imac our daughter using odd kids game, youtube etc. , in order i’m thinking putting ssd in may best option.

has in forums had experience doing on machine old? know i’ll need sort of adapter in order install ssd imac uses 3.5" hdds - there recommendations on also?

it possible , need 2.5" 3.5" mounting bracket. purchased drive below , mounting bracket below. both working fine in 2008 imac (2211) 24". remember reading using heavy duty velcro on ssd , mounting inside imac without 3.5" mount casing inside. since ssd has no moving parts, should work fine , runs cooler standard hard drive.
