have excellent range first floor third floor of 1906 house , porch off living room , front porch not out deck off dining room or kitchen yet front porch sits between kitchen , living room , not 1994 family room addition able receive signals apple tv gen 2 , amazon fire wireless music on sennheiser rs195's in 1 corner of family room , not @ on deck again excellent reception on front porch , porch

an airport express extend network - might try moving time capsule more central location if isn't there. said, have aex extending network , has filled in gaps had little no connection.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
