Is Anyone Else Having FaceTime Issues on New iPhones? (8 Plus and X)


i know strange, can point out new iphone’s (8 plus , x) wife , got.

whenever attempt or receive facetime video, can see other person fine...but cannot see or we’re frozen. happens when connected wi-fi (at our house) our old iphones worked on our wi-fi past 3 years.

other strange after 2-3 facetime video attempts, resolves , works perfectly.

part of me wants blame wi-fi, have 100/100 internet , worked before new iphones. else having issues on wi-fi?
 

as test, turn off wifi on both devices, , test face time. once done, post results.
if feature still same on cellular, issue isn't wifi.

but, in answer original question, i've not had issues on iphone 8 plus or iphone x...

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
