Having fun with RESXTREME, how accurate is this software?

i have heard software control displays , such, of time used when using high resolution displays or whatever powerful gpu.

got rather curious how software works , does, thought mess around in situation never use see happens.

decided try out flashed 5,1 2009 mac pro running high sierra stock gt120 gpu hooked old 22" acer display. show results , guys can form own opinions.

used cell phone photos of screen people see seeing , not photoshopped or anything.

weird thing after going standard settings using resxtreme still said running 10 bit , did not revert stock 8 bit until after deleting software.

attached files:

use following option go 8 bit.

anyway, sure software won't give magic, , need 10bit gpu , 10bit monitor make work. if force software go 10bit 8bit hardware, expected go wrong, right?
