iPad Pro 10.5” Creaking


just got 10.5 ipad pro , every time use it makes creaking sound in bottom right corner. anytime put kind of pressure makes creaking noise. gets bad in landscape mode. if it’s manufacturing defect. 2 days old.

made genuis bar appointment have them take look. being reasonable or paranoid?
distracting , i’m worried long term issues out of warranty.
 

while @ apple store, take @ 1 of 10.5’s on display , see if same thing. note genius bar if yours.

10.5 has slight light leak near home button when pressing edge of nearby screen. not sure if quirk of mine, @ apple store saw 10.5 display models same thing.

Other Unknown error

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
