2017 13" MacBook Pro battery replacement

hi all,

have 2017 macbook pro purchased couple of months ago. battery's cycle count reads 55 cycles @ moment.

looking forward, wondering whether apple replace battery if cycle count reach ~1000 , battery's ability hold charge decrease noticeably, in warranty? example, if in july 2018 find battery doesn't hold charge did when new, apple replace me within warranty, without charging me? or apple claim wear , tear , charge me it?

similarly, if buy applecare protection plan macbook pro 13" @ £229, replace mac's battery me @ no charge me? quick search of apple's website resulted in me finding in terms , conditions:

"service coverage available mac , original included accessories protection against (i) defects in materials or workmanship , (ii) batteries retain less 80% of original capacity."

how apple's technicians determine whether battery holds less 80% of it's original capacity?

also, reference, price of battery replacement 2017 macbook pro 13" @ apple store? (in british pounds sterling, if possible)

thank you!

yes that’s correct if charged capacity less 80% of original capacity (as stated in specs rather actual capacity higher) within applecare period of 3 years replace free. outside time limit charge you. replace top case , keyboard @ same time if i’m not mistaken, battery service 2017 £199.
