Amazed at Battlefront II on Mac Pro 2,1


i thought, since star wars battlefront ii on sale on origin ,i see if mac pro upgraded dual 3.0 x5365, 16gb ram, , 3gb 7950 under windows 7 ultimate bootcamp handle and, if not, request refund within 24 hours.

amazingly, game stable , playable. haven't played ton, hour in various modes, on medium settings, seem stable 45-60fps in demanding environments. can bump high or ultra , game still playable; depending on environment, can high 30-40fps, though did see drops 20s.

regardless, playable , enjoyable. amazing i'm playing on over 10 year old hardware (i got 1,1 in 2007 , made various upgrades become current 2,1 throughout years).

game optimized!
 

i had on ps2 many years ago. of course runs.... we're talking same one, right? soooo in 2005

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
