cMP 5,1 - Pascal GPU Flashed vs Non-Flashed

first post on forum here.

i've gotten new (to me) mac pro , running. next on list choose gpu.
i'm on fence between 1060 or 1070 light 1080p gaming (skyrim, few mmorpg, rounds of overwatch here or there).

curious quantitative difference in performance when using non-flashed card (pcie 1) vs flashed card (pcie 2) in bootcamp. noticeable running @ medium-high settings on 60hz monitor? boot screens not issue since still have stock 5870 around in case.

if has benchmarks or personal experience, love start discussion!

p.s. there other cool mods or add-ons might bring cheese grater future?
 

in general, flashing support efi rom boot macos.
not think, there differences running under bootcamp.

once os loads, it's drivers control card.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
