sold 12.9 ipad downsize 10.5 ipad, , doing coding, photoshopping, schoolwork , running business getting tiring on gaming pc , 10.5 ipad pro. typing, nicer weather outside, miss freedom away desktop , mac os.

should slum it, , try find base ntb mbp , resell when new 15” released? or should go 2017 15” now?
 

skip year, 2016 , 2017 have big gpu problems. maybe next year or rather next update version.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
