iphone 5s to iphone X set up help please


i all, iphone x being delivered @ 2pm today - wooop! got upgraded 13-20nov today! upgrading iphone 5s (ios 10.3.3) been years since bought new iphone , wondered what's best way set new. current iphone 5s backed icloud, (i pay storage 50gb) , nothing saved on desktop or itunes.

1) please can post best order set sim free iphone x, update latest ios version , transferred on x 5s.

2) once transferred on - keep current iphone 5s work use, still want remain on 5s too. able switch between phones quite easily?

in advance help.
 

i still prefer full encrypted itune up. fast , complete. icloud not near fast.

far switching phones need move sim card each time, phone want use.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fin...
