iPhone X: Tap-to-wake activating in pocket


has else had trouble keeping iphone x in pocket, , having hand in pocket?

me, turns on screen due tap-to-wake, , can cause phone emergency call screen. yesterday ended pocket-dialing brother because number on medical id card.

feel phone should use proximity sensor stay locked when in pocket, doesn't.
 

turn phone around in pocket screen against leg instead of facing out towards hands. don't understand why people don't it's obvious. protect screen getting damaged if bump table or something.

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
