Oh I should have held off on 11.2 until after getting the iPhone X


just put 11.2 on iphone 7, realize should have held off until x comes can restore backup... bites me. i'd prefer not new phone , have flash 11.2 before restore. unless knows won't case?
 

i turn off icloud backup before installing beta. way can roll if have to, , won't run situations 1 posted about.

backup being few days out of date isn't big deal since important stuff backed separately anyway. once beta has proven turn on icloud backup again.

com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930878

here's odd one! 1 of our 2015 macbook air notebooks in office crashed , became unbootable after user clicked high sierra upgrade sierra on it. tried sorts of things working again, including both internet recovery , regular recovery. each time, partially install high sierra , stop error saying, "macos not installed on computer", followed specific error code mentioned in message subject line. have identically configured air (8gb ram, 512gb ssd, core i7) upgraded sierra high sierra without problems @ all, should work! thing able problem machine installing sierra usb thumb drive. did that, of user's data accessible again (nothing lost, thankfully!) , working normally. tried running high sierra upgrade again fresh app store download, hoping original issue stupid user powering computer off in middle of upgrade process. nope! exact same error , resulting unbootable machine. computer passes apple hardware tests flying colors , seems fine
